Money

Have any of you noticed that money runs the world? Like seriously... You can't do anything without money... Sure you can take a walk. But it costs money to buy the shoes you are walking in. Sure you can sing a song. But it cost money to buy that CD. Pft... CD... What am I talking about all this CD nonsense. I meant,... But it cost $.99 to buy it off of itunes. I think the only things in the entire world you can do that doesn't cost money is love, cry, smile, and pray.

1.Love

Love is an emotion. A very positive and powerful one. There is no other emotion like it. Love brings warmth and joy. With out love, this world wouldn't mean anything. Think about it yo dizzles. It was Heavenly Fathers and Christs love for us that made ALL of this possible.

2. Cry

Crying, though sometimes embarrassing, often times is needed. Take for example, in the 8th grade i dropped my hot dog on me and got mustard all over my new shirt. I cried, i was embarrassed. On the other hand. My best friend JD Mason just went in to the MTC today. I said my goodbyes to him yesterday. I cried afterwards. I am going to miss him dearly. Crying is something that all girls are VERY familiar with... You know... The good ol', once a month, eat some chocolate, watch a romantic movie kinda thing. Crying, most of the time makes things better.

3.Smile

How great is smiling. I catch myself all the time smiling over the simplest little things. Like today at work. I heard this little boy that couldn't have been older than two laugh his hardest laugh he had. It was the cutest thing i have ever heard. I instantly started to smile and laugh a little. What great joy and happiness children bring into our lives. Smiling in fact, can make another persons day all better. I was smiling one day as i walked down the hall and a girl stopped me and gave me a hug. She said I made her day all better by just smiling at her. Smile every where you go. It makes every place you've been, better.

4.Pray

There is nothing like getting down and sending a knee mail. Prayer calms the soul and relieves your stress. It can stop painful crying, and also start sincere crying. Praying helps one become closer to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. :)

I don't know if you noticed. But all four of those things that you can do without money, have nothing negative about them. I mean sure, you can probably think about some round-about way that one of these are negative... But why would you do that when all four of these things are awesome?

Cars

I am guessing you guys can already tell what this one is going to be about....

I got in my car today, (shocker right) and i headed to maverick to get a doctor pepper... I was craving one. Anywho, that is beside the point. As i started to drive i started to think... (oh no... here we go again... Josh is thinking...) How awesome is it that we have cars. And,,, we can just get in and go when ever or where ever we like. Seriously... Its pretty cool. I mean come on... African people don't even know what Dr pepper is.... And their vehicles, are lions!? Or something like that...

Oh... And another thing... I think my grandpa is amazing... And this is why.

I was like.. Hey. Grandpa. This little doohickey on my car isn't working... So he was like, let me take a look at that... So he dug in my car and he opened this secret hatch door that no one knows about (i swear it appeared out of no where) and he tightened one bolt.... And it was fixed... He just smiled, you know, like old men do when they know they have out smarted you... Oh and that's another thing... How in the heck can old people know as much as they do! I swear there isn't enough room up there to fit all of that. Especially when you get old. Because the older you get, the more you shrink. (not trying to be mean. just a fact of life.)

Oh! Yeah! I almost forgot... I was thinking about this today too... How crazy is it how much cars have come along. Seriously... People use to cruise down the highway doing what.... 45? 50? Now people cruise down the highway doing what.... 80? 85? Holy Mockers! It would have given people back then a heart attack to go that fast. Really... I think they might have died...

Cars... People are way to ungrateful for them... Seriously... You know those people who you see waiting for the bus at the bus stop in the middle of the winter when it is snowing? Yeah, you know... Those ones you feel really bad for. Well, they are sitting there looking at you drive by in your nice car, with a heater, a cup holder, and a butt warmer... And what Don't you think about every time you get in your car... Man i am grateful for my car that has a heater, cup holder, and a butt warmer. Oh my gosh... BUTT WARMER!!! Wow, (this being said in someones head... WITH a car)... this really nice cars expensive leather seats are cold on my little bummy... I need it heated. Right now... OK ma'am (this being said in the head of the person that has a crappy job installing butt warmers, that has no car and waits for the bus in the middle of the winter, watching people drive by in nice heated cars that have cup holders and butt warmers). He gladly takes the car while saying. "would you like me to wipe that little bummy of yours too?". (out of ear shot of the ungrateful person of course.) Anyways.. My point is people are so ungrateful and it is ridiculous.

I think that everyone should just smile and be happy with what they have. (Even if it doesn't have a butt heater.)

Guitars

Picture this... Me, sitting in my bedroom playing my guitar... As i sat there i began to think about music, instruments, life... You know... The usual... But i began to focus on instruments, then on the instruments i play.... Guitar, Ukelele, Bass, Piano... After thinking for well over a half hour i decided i play the coolest instrument in the world... The guitar.

Who in the heck thought about it enough to come up with a guitar??? "Hmm... let me think here" (this being said in the head of the inventor)... "If i put these strings from here to here and make them really tight... Oh yeah... And i have to make a bunch of these little ridges (frets) so i can push the string down and change the pitch... There will have to be a hollow body made of good wood to project and amplify the sound..." Gosh... Who ever that was had there head about them...

Honestly... If you think about it.... How many instruments are there really... Not very many... So that means that not very many people have made instruments and succeeded. Ha ha ha. You would have to have so much patience and time to make a new instrument... Not to mention a freaking creativity in your mind that blows all others away...

Think about the inventor of the bongos... A guy sitting in his room was just like... I need this sound... Ha ha... Now how to get it... Let me stretch animal hide over a hollow wooden cylinder and see how that sound.... Ah.... Just right... Like... Wow.... Seriously i have no idea where some of these guys did what they did...

Hey.

If you are actually taking

the time to read this i think

that you are awesome.

I think that reading is a god

given talent that alot of

people take for granted.

As you may have notice by

the title of this, this is indeed

my first blog. Though some

people like to talk about

religion, music, relationships,

or other boring things;

I plan on talking about my life.

Which is all of those things

wrapped up in a little ball.

That little ball sadly being

my life.

Is life really small though?

I don't believe so. The meaning

of your life is huge and

endless. We never know exactly

where we might end up, who we

might meet, or what we will be

doing. But i do know that life has a

greater purpose than for us to

just come here and party it up.

I love my friends.

Without my friends i wouldn't

be a sane person. Social life is

more important to me then alone

time. Some people say you need to

get "in touch" with your true

and or inner self... Wow...

How self centered is that. I have

found, I am the happiest when i

find myself in the service of other

people. Lending a helping hand,

loving your neighbor, and giving

random acts of kindness are

three of the best things you can

do. From these three things

I get instant gratifiction.

Peace, Love, and Happiness

never hurt anybody.

I would begin to talk about

music but i simply do not

have enough time. That is for

another day.
